Notification Border Light

Your phone's edges are the one strip of screen nothing else uses. Edge Lightening puts a moving light there.

Not a static edge lighting border. A light that travels. A bright head laps the frame and leaves a fading tail behind it, so the edge lightens as the light passes.

Twin: two heads split at the top and meet again at the bottom.
Bolt: a dim rest, then a strike that races the whole edge in one go.
Pulse: the whole outline breathes, brightening and easing off.
Flow: your colours drift around the frame in one slow, unbroken band.
Steady: no motion at all, just the outline holding your colours.

MAKE IT YOURS

Pick up to six colours and set the order they run in, head to tail. Gold into white into violet reads as a strike cooling off. Turn it around and you get something else entirely.

Then tune it. Speed, thickness, how far the tail stretches, and the corner radius at the top and bottom so the light hugs your phone's real shape. Add a soft halo behind it, or switch that off for a clean hairline. Trace the camera punch hole too, if you want it ringed.

Most apps like this show you a small picture of a phone. This one lights your real screen edges, at real size, the moment you open it. Nothing to allow, nothing to grant, just look. When you want the light on your home screen and inside every other app, allow drawing over apps once and it follows you out.

STAYS OUT OF THE WAY

The light never takes a touch, so your fingerprint reader, gestures, keyboard and everything underneath keep working exactly as before. It rests while your screen is off and picks up again when it wakes. It returns on its own after a restart. One tap in the notification turns it off from anywhere.

QUIET BY DESIGN

No ads. No account. No internet permission at all, so there is nothing to send and nothing to collect. Your looks are saved on your phone and stay there.

Draw over other apps. Optional. Only needed to carry the light outside this app. Preview it on your real edges without granting anything.

Notifications. Optional. Android needs an ongoing notification to keep the light running, and it doubles as a one-tap off switch.
